Mesa Middle School has moved out of Camino. They stayed for 6th grade and part of 7th. They moved to a brand new school with Mac, iPods, iPads, and other technology. The new school is still under construction. So it sounds like it would be loud. The Mesa kids will enjoy their new school. But we'll stay here at Camino and enjoy our school.

The New School Parking Lot
Photographs by Brenda Escudero
Story by Elaina Blair
Camino Real Middle School is getting a new parking lot, which the school will hopefully start using on November 12, 2010. Mr. Ramos said that it will be Northeast of the football feild, connecting to Cuatro Jitas Road, feeding into Sonoma, and will be used for better safety, more room, and to provide access to the school. It will help the students to have multiple ways to get into the school. Students will be able to be picked up and dropped off, if they wish in this parking lot.
If Camino Real has an emergency, and an ambulance or other vehicle comes, the drivers will be able to get into the school without having to go through the crowded parking lot. Also, along with the new parking lot, a bike path will be available to use. This will be a great user-friendly way to get students to and from school.
